Each individual property is a building block that contributes toward attaining the targeted fund performance. REInvest focuses its asset management services on the optimisation of earnings of the investments under management with specific attention to sustainability. In addition to day-to-day operations, Asset Management is also responsible for the strategic management of individual leases, right up to the repositioning of properties on the market.

In addition to commercial management, asset management also includes structural and technical tasks, to ensure the optimal earning power of the properties through appropriate maintenance. REInvest has its own specialised staff for this very purpose.

When a property is purchased, the assumptions regarding the profitability calculation are verified by the Asset Manager in charge, and a "second underwriting" of the business plan is carried out (the “four-eye-principle” is applied at every level where a decision has to be reached.

For rulings with far reaching implications an extra level of controlling in form of a “controlling body” is implemented. With the business plan implementation, Asset Management is responsible for the property's performance. It continually keeps an eye on the property strategy, thus allowing its adjustment if necessary, and taking into account the overall fund strategy.
